- Transcript Good evening this is Mayor Snyder the city is experiencing a serious storm water event the rainfall is expected through tomorrow morning with an immediate freeze afterwards with the rainwater trapped by the frost still in the ground it is making the flooding much worse we are going to have a flooding phone call line open all night 762-4564 the city will also open its warming center tonight at Woodland Park staff will be manning the phones and crews will be making will be out making sure storm drains are open to help mitigate the flooding we will not respond to backyard flooding as our focus will be roads in persons trapped by rising waters the constant freeze thaw compounded by the flooding has also caused a major pothole crisis as long as the holes are full of water it is futile for crews to put patch in them until they are free of standing water we ask that you drive slowly and circum.
