Of course, now that the elections are over, we are no longer being bothered. But, is there some reason why those calls could not be stopped?

I even had to buy a new phone with a larger blocking capability. I don't understand why our carriers did not step up to eliminate this problem. Thanks for offering an alternative solution. It's been working great.
