Just last week, 14,962 people got Nomorobo protection!
First off, I just want to say Thank You! While not perfect, Nomorobo is still by far the best thing I have found to help deal with the endless BS calls from the wide assortment of scumbags and scammers who chose to torment us with their useless and unwanted calls at all hours of the day and night. Yes, some calls get through, until those numbers end up getting caught by Nomorobo, but this is a small price to pay for the peace of mind and lack of aggravation that is gained by the majority of calls being intercepted. As an individual with mobility issues, I can't express how much better it is with Nomorobo, to not have to jump up every time the phone rings, thinking it may be a call from family or friends, only to find out it was some d*ckhead from 1000 miles away, trying to con me into buying an extended automobile warranty or some other crap-tastic scam. I can now calmly wait to see if the call gets rejected after the first ring, before having to struggle to reach the phone, knowing that in most instances that call will be a legitimate call. The Nomorobo service has been extremely effective for us, and I tell others about it all the time. I hope that this service remains free of charge, as I feel that it is an added insult to have to pay for a service to keep from being harassed, scammed, and otherwise being victimized by the low life's of the world who chose the telephone as their weapon of choice to assault their victims. To be charged for the Nomorobo service, well, I liken that to having to pay for the police to show up at your house when a similar attempt at scamming you has been made in person. Please, continue to keep this service free for the benefit of all, I'm sure there is a way for you to monetize Nomorobo, without placing that burden on it's users. Again, thank you for the Nomorobo service, I can't express how much it has helped to keep the tele-scum at bay in our household!— John, Nov 29th, 10:04am
it helps but the fact that my phone still rings once can be annoying late at night. Also MANY calls are still coming thru> The stupid cable company ( Time Warner) ALLOWS unidentified calls even tho I have blocked them as they consider " name unavailable" to be an identity!!!!!thnx for all you are doing to try to knock off this nonsense! I did not have this kind of trouble with phone calls until we switched to Time Warner!! and yet we pay $2 to be unlisted..... what a waste!— Barbara, Nov 29th, 10:20am
Before Nomorobo we would get some 20-30 auto dialer calls a day. We had even gone so far to buy a phone that announces the caller's ID, so we wouldn't answer the 800 calls. But then the masked local calls started coming too. I seriously considered getting rid of our home phone. I am so happy with Nomorobo. This service has seriously saved me and my husband countless and daily aggravation.— Rebecca R, Nov 29th, 10:44am
Great service for all phone users. Not 100%, however, a huge improvement in warding off most robocalls.— A. B, Nov 29th, 10:53am
I love Nomorobo. The phone rings once, then the phone-bot is sent to never-never land. Yahoo. Thanks for this great service.— William, Nov 29th, 11:50am
I love it! Fingers are crossed for an enhanced version allowing users to interact with a Nomorobo database to manually add numbers that slip by your filters.— RoseAnn G, Nov 29th, 11:51am
This is the best way to stop robo calls. I now have a list of 285 calls over the past months. Now starting on my cell phone also. AT&T needs to sign up with nomorobo for cell phones. Thank you so much for this service.— Charlsie, Nov 29th, 1:15pm
Works just like you said it would. Now if I could only get rid of "live" callers that keep trying to sell me something.....— Jim M, Nov 29th, 1:51pm
