The berwin fire Department will be conducting a flushing hydrants starting on Monday, october 4th through Friday. October 15th, in various areas of the city, including sir mac road hydrants will be flushed from 8 AM until 4 PM, Monday through Friday. Residents may noticed discoloration of water when flushing takes place in their neighborhood. Persons who experience discoloration of water can turn on their plumbing fixtures until the water runs clear. From the water from a fixture that is located in the lowest level of your house. Please do not do laundry during hydrant flushing in your neighborhood. Please wait until you have clear running water before you start.
