The City of Oldsmar will open a self service sandbag station on Tuesday, September 24 from 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. until supplies are depleted. The site will be in the parking lot at the Oldsmar Sports complex located at 3120 Tampa Road. Entry must be made by a curlew road. Communal shovels are not guaranteed. Residents should bring their own shovels. Proof of residency is required and must be presented at the checkpoint entry in the form of a government id city utility bill. Residents age 65 plus and those with handicap vehicle tags can obtain premade sandbags while supplies last. There is a limit of ten bags per vehicle. Bring assistance if you require such.
