The City of Oldsmar will open a self service sandbag station on Monday, October 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m. until supplies are depleted, the station will be in the parking lot at the Oldsmar Sports complex located at 3120 Tampa Road. Entry must be made by a Curlew road. Shovels are not guaranteed. Residents should bring their own proof of Oldsmar. Residency is required and must be presented at the entry checkpoint in the form of a government id or city utility bill. Bring assistance if required. Limit ten bags per vehicle. Please note sandbags are only recommended for properties that may experience minor flooding from rainfall. They will not protect against storm surge.
