The Town of Winchester is issuing a snow emergency starting Tuesday, February 13 at 01:00 a.m. The emergency will continue through the day Tuesday until 06:00 p.m. During these hours, it is advised not to travel. If possible, all parked vehicles are to be off the street on private property to allow for snow removal. Any vehicle unable to be placed on private property can be parked at the town hall Jenk center parking lot or the Abidona Drive parking lot for the duration of the storm. Any vehicle not removed from the roadway during the emergency will be subject to ticket, tow or both. Snow accumulations are predicted to be up to a foot of snow. For emergencies, dial 911 or contact the Winchester Police Department at 781-729-1212 for snow removal issues, please contact the Winchester Department of Public Works at 781-721-7106 to report Verizon service related issues.
