- Transcript Hello, this is United States Representative Jimmy Panetta. I'm calling again to invite you to participate in another one of my many town halls that's starting just in a few minutes. During tonight's town hall, we're going to try to focus on the recent decisions by the administration, how our system of checks and balances is working with this administration, but how also how Congress, at least in the minority, what we're doing to try to flex our muscles when it comes to pushing back on this administration, but also Speaker Mike Johnson and some of the decisions coming out of the majority. On that note, I'm going to give an update on the partisan budget resolution that passed last night, as well as the negotiations on the budget that we're going to be dealing with next month. My guests, at least we're planning to have as guests a couple of legal experts who are very familiar with the ongoing litigation against the executive orders that have come out lately. If you're interested in attending and listening, please stay on the line and you'll be automatically connected. If you want to call back and join in, please please call 833-380-0413. If you have any questions, you can also call my office at 831-424-2229. But again, stay on the line to be connected to my town hall or call back to be connected at 833-380-0413. Again, this is Jimmy Panetta. Hope you Jo. Please hold while we connect you to your Access Live event. This Access Live event is currently in progress. Please note, this call may be monitored, recorded or rebroadcast. If you would like to ask a question during Today's event, press Star 3 on your telephone keypad at any time in the United States House of Representatives putting forward pieces of legislation to push back on many of these executive orders, like the Taxpayer Data Protection act to protect people's personal information through the Department of Treasury, a bill like the Prevent Tariff Abuse act, another bill, Consistent Legal Expectations and Access to Records act, basically preventing access to that those types of private information, the Capitol remembrance act, making sure that a plaque that was supposed to be there for the police officers on January 6 actually gets puts up actually gets put up in the United States Capitol like it's supposed to, the no Ban act, which basically prevents banning people coming into this country just based on their ethnicity, or the Protecting National Security act to restore a USAID things, pieces of legislation like that that we can introduce, that we can set the foundation to let you know, to let.

Just last week, 8,277 people got Nomorobo protection!

I actually get kind of thrilled when Nomorobo intercepts calls. It's like a victory over the creeps who are running those invasive operations.
— Joyce, Nov 29th, 10:16am
I don't get as many calls, but I'm still receiving them. Would like to stop them ALL!
— Norma, Nov 29th, 10:26am
90% effective! Thank you. The phone may ring once, and we can ignore that.
— Chip S, Nov 29th, 11:04am

It works! It's stopping about 8 calls a day. We love it.

This is a truly great service. I'm proud to think I've helped limit the robocall scourge by reporting quite a few scammers and other low lifes to nomorobo. I recommend this to everyone that will listen. Just thought I'd mention that when I hear that single ring I'm both happy that I don't have to answer and still annoyed that there are people out there with the morals of a leech.
— Dan E, Nov 29th, 12:39pm
Where have you been all of my life? Thank you.
— Richard M, Nov 29th, 12:57pm
It works! I can't begin to thank you. Now you just need to close the deals with AT&T, Verizon, etc.
