This message is to inform you that the Salem Public Services Department will be blowing and sweeping streets and sidewalks on Wednesday night in the downtown area. Blowing will begin at 09:00 p.m. followed by the street sweeping at 11:00 p.m. to approximately 03:00 a.m. the downtown area will be posted with no parking tow zone signs. Residents on the streets may park for free at the garage in the museum place mall from 08:00 p.m. wednesday evening to 08:00 a.m. thursday morning with proof of residency. Please remove your vehicles from the affected downtown streets so they will not be towed. Thank you. I love it however, a lot of robo calls still come thru. I am retired so home most of the time and i see on my TV before answering who is calling and i would say about 5 out of 7 get thru each day.I wish i knew how to get rid of the other 5.However, the ones you catch are great.
