  • Transcript With vote yes on 3 inviting you to a live telephone town hall right now to discuss why we need to pass question 3 so every Nevada voter has more voice and better choices of who represents us. We'll also be taking your questions live. It's free to participate, so just stay on the line to join. Thanks. Paid for by Vote yes on 388-889-02282. To opt out, you are joining a live conference already in progress. Please be aware that your local phone company may leave your line open for up to 32 seconds after you leave the conference. If you would like to ask the speaker a question, please press zero. No three is undecided and we're talking about question three. So for those who are just joining the call, we're having to telephone town hall this afternoon about question three. Election Day is Tuesday running out of time to figure out how we're voting on all these different issues. And so we wanted to make sure that we had this telephone town hall today so we can answer everybody's questions about this important measure that will determine how we run elections in our state. Question three gives the right to vote to 1 million independent voters in Nevada who are currently excluded from our closed primary system and allows all registered voters the right to vote, regardless of their political party to select a candidate in a primary election. And then those candidates, the top five candidates, will go on to the general election where voters will have the option to rank candidates in order of preference so that you can feel like you're voting for somebody, not just against somebody, and that you can have more and better choices so that you're not making the so called lesser of two evils decision. And yet your voice is heard by all voters in Nevada. And we don't believe that any voter should be forced to just pick a political party just to participate in the elections that their taxes pay for. And so question three, of course opens the primary to the 1 million independent voters who are currently excluded, gives voters more and better choices and allows you to the option to rank candidates in order of preference so that the winner of an election has a true majority support of all Nevadans. And the incentive will be to talk to all registered voters and focus on the issues and solutions that matter, not on negative attacks which would increase civility in our campaigns. So again, if you have a question for us, press 0 now on your keypad to be added to the queue. We do have a poll open right now, so if you're just joining the line and want to weigh in, if you're a yes on question three, you can press one on your keypad. If you're a no on question three, you can press two. And if you're undecided on question three, you can press three. So again, one is a yes, two is a no, three is undecided. And we're going to start answering questions. So again, we encourage everybody, do not be shy. We're going to answer any question you have about question three. We're looking forward to a nice discuss.

Just last week, 8,252 people got Nomorobo protection!

I love this feature but wish it was able to do away with even the 1 ring. There have been instances where a legitimate company was trying to call but we're blocked as a robo call. I've learned to give them my cell number.

This is a good service. It works! I've had it for nearly a year and it screens most 'robocalls.'

It has reduced unwanted calls significantly. I have already told friends about it. Now if only it could block calls with caller IDs of Blocked or Anonymous that would be the icing on the cake. We never accept those calls.

This has been a huge help to us. I have a question. We get quite a few calls where the phone rings once and no one is there. There is not a record of who called on Called ID. Could these be robo calls that did not get blocked in time? Is it a problem with Comcast?

Love it. Have recommended it to my friends.

I am still getting some robo calls, why?

It's wonderful!!!!

LOVE IT!!!!When my phone rings one time and stops I am reminded and I know that NOMOROBO is picking up the call.I am also finding that the callers are using a different number to call back and NOMOROBO is picking it.Unfortunately my cell service Verizon ,is not one of the carriers of NOMOROBO.THANK YOU!!!!!

The number of frustrating robocalls is exploding, but there are more options than ever to fight back
